Chinese Calligraphy, as we colloquially call it since it affects also Japanese and Korean, is an art form with over 3,000 years of history and closely connected with the language, culture and contemporary visual expression; and it's even related to the meaning of the text and mood of the writer or owner as poems and idioms are usually used to implicate the reason that inspired the works.
To the artist, the works epitomizes a feeling or an impulse in a spontaneous way; to the collectors, it can be appreciated as both a visual art and an expression, a motto or an agreeable philosophy of their own.
