iPad, Apple Pencil and the ZenBrush* app are tools Jame use to create the artworks. As they are straightforward like brush pens and paper, but it takes inspiration, literacy, practice and sometimes countless failure to prefect.
The example writes** "enjoy life to leave depression behind" (樂以忘憂), an idiom from The Analects written by Confucius.
* We are not affiliated with Apple Inc. or ZenBrush in any way.** Chinese characters are written from right to left in the traditional form.
Infinite Source of Design Elements
As computer fonts become popular and prevalent, calligraphy has become a diminishing skill in the young generations. Though computer fonts have their merits, they are indistinctive, repetitive and lacking human touches.
Since no two calligraphy works are identical, they offer an infinite source of original, expressive, and unique design elements.
The example on the left has been created for an importer of Italian prosecco (sparkling wines) as its main corporate identity logotype.
